Hikari Hanazono, the main character, has always been second to Kei Takishima. While Hikari considers Kei a rival and somewhat of a friend, Kei loves Hikari. Everyone knows this, but she is too dense to notice. Their wrestling loving fathers first introduced them to one another when they were 6 years old. Assuming that she was the best in wrestling, young Hikari challenged Kei to a wrestling match only to be thoroughly defeated by him. Ever since that fateful incident, Hikari swore to beat Kei in school grades, a sporting event - anything. To do this she has enrolled in the same school as Kei since elementary. Now she attends Hakusenkan, an ultra elite school, that costs her carpenter father a lot of money. Hikari and Kei are the top two students in the school, with Kei holding firmly to that number one position.
I love this one!!!!!!!!!!!! It's funny and cute! I highly recommend this one!!!

Really funny! so romantic with akira and ---- Kei is funny too when he gets mad at hikari! Hikari is funny too when she gets mad at Kei. One of my ultimate favorites.. Planning to read the manga because the anime is just too short

awwww speical a.... now this was a good anime... i just started reading the manga but ill always love the anime, i think this anime is the anime that made me love animes so much =^^"= (lol! i said anime 5 times....... now 6.... wow O.O)

Blahhh! I just got done watching this show and I fell in love with it! *.* I can't believe how cute it was!!!! Very funny too!! I would say watch this show if you haven't and you will wish there were more episodes!!! Gahhh it was just so amazing!!! Me = Love it!!

omg im such an idiot that i went straight to the end without watching any series before that ;; the ending was really good that i couldnt stop watching it so i basically killed it & i never went back to watch the series b4 that but anyways yeh great ending lol
