Everyone at Seiyo Elementary thinks Hinamori Amu is the coolest girl in class. But, she's nothing like that. Amu's actually a very shy girl who wishes to have courage to truly be herself. One morning, she found three mysterious, little eggs in her bed. Each egg contains a "Guardian Character". These guardians are angel-like beings that can give a human a certain power to change their abilities. With help help from these Guardian Characters, Amu will discover that her true self is even more amazing than she ever dreamed.

    I actually liked it but I got turned off by the whole transformation bit... kind of like akazukin chacha although akazukin chacha was funnier. The romance is really sweet though and the girl isn't annoying

    I saw the anime, but after awile when the episodes haven't been comeing in, I started to read the manga. The manga is a lot faster. I'm already waiting (for probably the last one) and then shugo chara will finally be over. Anyways. I recamend both anime and manga.

    SHUGO CHARA!!! one of the most amazing animes EVER!! im still not done with it but im on episode 88! :l only 3 more episodes then im done i havent thought about reading the manga, but if its as good as that anime then im sooooooo reading it!!! !!! (u can also watch this anime at crunchyroll, thats where i watch it, at crunchyroll so far it goes up to 90 episodes)
