Tohru Honda is 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure. However, these young men and parts of the rest of their family (both close and distant) hold a curse; if they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter... it also holds horrible cruelity and heartbreak.
Waaaah! So good! I love all the characters and Tohru is so kind. Her girl friends are so funny!
I laughed many times. =)

LOL this is one of the funniest animes/mangas I've ever read! There should be more episodes for the anime because the ending was too abrupt but the manga ending was sooooooo sweet!

The anime was quite good, well i didn't like the ending cuz it was an open ending, who cares?
i recommend you to watch this, but: read the manga. if you were disappointed by the anime . dun give in.
the manga is far better!

This with Ouran High School Host Club is THE funniest anime I have ever seen- and I've seen a lot XD I couldn't watch a single episode without bursting into several fits of laughter :D

I thought this was the sweetest anime ever. I'll admit it could have been right up there with Inuyasha for me if it had been just a little longer. I thought it needed more in "solid relationship" as in I wish she'd ended up, never mind I guess I shouldn't say. I don't want to spoil anything.
